Why MSPs Leave Autotask

Autotask pricing is notoriously opaque. You won't find it on their website. The actual cost depends on your contract length, user count, and negotiating skill. Reports of 7%+ annual increases on renewal are common.
What to look for: Transparent, published pricing. Month-to-month options. No penalties for scaling down.
3. The Lock-In Problem
Multi-year contracts with heavy renewal pressure mean you're committed before you know if the next year's "improvements" will address your pain points.
What to look for: Monthly billing with no long-term commitment. A vendor that earns your business every month.
4. The Integration Problem
Autotask works great with other Kaseya products (Datto RMM, IT Glue, BMS). If your stack isn't all-Kaseya, integrations get sparse fast.
What to look for: Native integrations with the tools you actually use. Open APIs for custom connections.
